Accolade - performed April 2016

By Emlyn Williams

Performed with the kind permission of Samuel French

Director - Kate Sheffield

The theme of Accolade is as relevant today as it was when written by Emlyn Williams in the middle of the last century. It concerns the much admired author, William Trenting, who has achieved great popularity as a writer basing his work on his "observations" of characters in a Rotherhithe pub. When information concerning his private life is discovered, consequences are unravelled. The implications give "food for thought".

The team of actors and their supportive crew, both backstage and in the lighting gallery, have been working well together to support each other in presenting this thriller which hopefully will give you, the audience, an interesting theatrical experience.
