The Real Inspector HoundBy Tom StoppardPerformed with the kind permission of Samuel French Director - Kate SheffieldThis one-act play by Tom Stoppard has the originality of style which he brings to his texts. In this play he parodies the "murder mystery" performance which invariably takes place in a country house. The two critics sent along to comment on the performance get carried away by their own pretensions - the one concerned about his rival critic, the other about his conquests with women. With these two getting involved in the drama a farcical conclusion is created. The cast have worked hard to achieve what will hopefully be a thoughtprovoking and amusing first half. The Amazing Revelations of Orca The GoldfishBy David TristramPerformed with the kind permission of Samuel French Director - Glyn HillThis is my second opportunity to direct for the Manifest Theatre, and it is
very different from the brooding sinister ‘Dead Guilty’. ‘The Amazing Revelations
of Orca The Goldfish’ is a saucy, hilariously funny play about a bored
married couple Henry and Alice, who act out their fantasies in front of their
goldfish Orca. Cast(in order of appearance)
